  • This position will drive the creation of breakthrough insights into business processes which unify and align strategy and operating plans resulting in enhanced shareholder value.
  • This position will lead the integration of process improvement in business operations and culture.
  • This position will reduce costs by streamlining processes, provide for accelerated value creation throughout the enterprise and enable associates to focus on activities that matter most to customers.
  • This position will be focused on driving improvements in revenue and driving cost out of the business through more effective business processes, elimination of non-value added or duplicate efforts, waste and other related defects in the business process.
  • The position will serve as the corporate expert on process methodologies to include Lean, Six Sigma or other related process improvement tools.
  • This position will also focus on change management and overall enterprise governance over business process and technology initiatives.
  • This position will help manage the development, delivery and administration of Lean Six Sigma methodologies, tools and training that will be deployed as part of the company's Lean Six Sigma global initiatives.
  • This position will serve as a senior level coach to business areas driving sustained improvements to the business’s global business process challenges via strategy deployment and alignment to corporate continuous improvement plans.
  • This position will drive and influence a culture for sustained improvement and continuous process improvement.
  • This position will act as a change agent to instill Six Sigma and lean culture and principles are utilized consistently throughout the business organization.

Position Critical to Quality + Success (CTQ+S): Technical Behavioral Requirements:

  • BS Business / Technical Engineering Degree (preferred)
  • Preference given to candidates with prior enterprise wide deployment leadership experience
  • 7+ Years’ experience in Lean Six Sigma Supply Chain / Transactional implantation and facilitation in roles of increasing deployment leadership responsibility to the executive level
  • Advanced Training in Lean, PDCA, Kaizen, VSM and other continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Track record of successful cross functional/global project management & deployment leadership experience
  • Personal computer skills in a networked environment, Microsoft products (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power-point, and MSProject) required.

Position Description and Responsibilities:

This is a key position in our client’s strategic initiative group, reporting directly to the Global Director of Strategic Initiatives. This position will require an experienced Maintenance and Reliability Manager, preferably with process industry related background and experience. This position requires a leader that is able to facilitate and drive change in a fast paced and “ever changing” environment leveraging his/her strong interpersonal skills. Key to success in this position is the ability to work within the organization at all levels creating value and buy-in as the global leader for the business’s maintenance and reliability initiatives. Success will be measured by improved competitiveness, profitability, and a verifiable positive impact on company goals for operational excellence.

  • This position will develop, lead, implement and administrate company-wide programs focused on optimizing spend in the area of asset management, across the business’s various global divisions and operating sites.
  • This position will leverage company subject matter experience/experts to advance current maintenance and reliability efforts through enhanced communication and best practices sharing by driving their application globally across the company.
  • This position will help develop and set company’s global maintenance and reliability vision with senior executive leadership.
  • This position will leverage their expertise and knowledge to gain senior leadership confidence to identify and act upon improvement opportunities globally across the organization.
  • This position will create a tactical model for driving and leaning the maintenance and reliability culture throughout the organization globally.
  • This position will develop and implement strategies that accelerate and improve current maintenance practices and processes.
  • This position will identify, improve and formalize best practices and coordinate their global implementation.
  • This position will manage maintenance and reliability improvement project development and selection; develop project plans; establish, validate and track metrics, manage milestone reviews, and drive projects to completion with verifiable results.
  • This position will develop and deliver comprehensive maintenance and reliability strategic / tactical training to at all levels within the organization.
  • This position will lead the organization in defining its current state and use this to identify and prioritize opportunities.
  • This position will develop cross-functional relationships between maintenance and reliability professionals and Supply Chain managers to drive improvements in the overall management of supplies and services on both corporate and location levels.
  • This position will provide expert guidance to established maintenance and reliability teams globally and regionally to coach executive leadership on developing the initiative into the business culture that is appropriate to each business unit and location.
  • This position will mentor location and divisional colleagues in personal development and program execution as required.

Position Critical to Quality + Success (CTQ+S): Technical Behavioral Requirements:

  • BS Technical Engineering Degree
  • 5 - 10 years’ multi-site / corporate deployment experience leading maintenance and reliability initiatives in process industry setting
  • Specialized training in Maintenance and Reliability Engineering concepts
  • Operations/process leadership experience a plus
  • CMRP certification a plus

This position will require an experienced Maintenance and Reliability Engineering leader, preferably with heavy commercial product manufacturing background and experience. This position requires a leader that is able to facilitate and drive change in a fast paced and “ever changing” environment leveraging his/her strong interpersonal skills. Key to success in this position is the ability to work within the organization at all levels utilizing a very “hands on” approach to creating value and buy-in as the lead process reliability engineering expert and leader as part the business’s Lean transformation and process excellence initiative.

  • This position will work closely with maintenance and/or production personnel to resolve chronic equipment related issues across the business’s various divisions and plants.
  • This position will be responsible assisting the business’s operations staff with PPM reviews, PPM modifications, Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA), CMMS data mining to investigate equipment trends, failure defense identification and planning, PdM technology implementation, work process improvements, and setup of reliability based metrics while ensuring compliance with all regulatory agency and company requirements.
  • This position will work and collaborate with various departments to develop and maintain specific targets, strategies and tactics to maximize equipment availability to drive asset productivity improvement.
  • This position will perform equipment evaluations to determine and justify new equipment, equipment replacement (Incorporate into capital plan), or overhaul needs.
  • This position will develop and maintain contingency plans for catastrophic failure of each major system.
  • This position will develop Lubrication Specifications Standards, aligned with and according to accepted Industry Standards.
  • This positions will monitor the equipment availability; assist with departmental projects and initiatives related to equipment availability performance improvements.
  • This position will focus on Continuous Improvement targets
  • This position will coach and mentor the utilization of Reliability Best Practices.
  • This position will maintain expert status in the reliability engineering discipline
  • This position will teach others basic principles of reliability engineering
  • This position will lead the application of reliability methodologies such as Reliability Centered Maintenance Analysis, Root Cause Failure Analysis, Failure Modes and Effects Analysis, equipment criticality analysis, etc. to transform the organization from maintenance to reliability focus
