Our exclusive client is a leading Healthcare provider seeking to gain a further competitive advantage by leveraging Lean Six Sigma as a key part of their integrated corporate strategy.

Position Description and Responsibilities:
This is a key Lean Six Sigma deployment leadership position within one our client’s portfolio healthcare businesses, reporting directly to the COO. This position will require an experienced Lean Six Sigma deployment leader and consultant with enterprise wide healthcare (hospital or provider network) deployment experience. This position requires a deployment leader and consultant that is able to facilitate and drive change in a fast paced and “ever changing” environment leveraging his/her strong interpersonal and executive level influencing skills. Key to success in this position is the ability to work within and across our client’s healthcare organization at all levels, creating value and buy-in as the a key change facilitator for the business’s internal client portfolio Lean Six Sigma deployment initiatives.
  • This position will lead a team of Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belts that provide Lean Six Sigma coaching, mentoring and training leadership around initiatives focused on the sustained improvement of business processes throughout our client’s internal portfolio businesses
  • This position will drive the creation of breakthrough insights into business processes which unify and align strategy and operating plans resulting in enhanced shareholder value.
  • This position will facilitate the integration of process improvement in business operations and culture through coaching and mentoring of senior leadership at our client’s internal portfolio businesses.
  • This position will reduce costs by streamlining processes, provide for accelerated value creation throughout our client’s internal portfolio businesses and enable associates to focus on activities that matter most to customers.
  • This position will be focused on driving improvements in revenue and driving cost out of the business through more effective business processes, elimination of non-value added or duplicate efforts, waste and other related defects in the business process.
  • The position will serve as the portfolio business expert on Lean process methodologies and process improvement tools.
  • This position lead a team of Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belts that will manage the development, delivery and administration of Lean Six Sigma methodologies, tools and training that will be deployed as part of our client’s Lean enterprise wide initiatives.
  • This position will serve as a Lean Six Sigma executive coach to senior leaders, helping to drive portfolio wide sustained improvements via strategy deployment and alignment to corporate continuous improvement plans.
  • This position will drive and influence a culture for sustained improvement and continuous process improvement.
  • This position will act as an executive change agent to instill lean six sigma culture and principles are utilized consistently throughout our client’s portfolio businesses.
  • This position lead a team of Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belts that will provide coaching, mentoring and training to achieve sustained improvement of business processes. Scope includes all major business processes throughout our client’s portfolio businesses.
  • This role will work with site executive leadership to define process quality issues, measure current process performance, analyze root cause defects, and develop targeted process improvement opportunities with business partners

Position Critical to Quality + Success (CTQ+S): Technical Behavioral Requirements:
  • BS Business / Engineering or Healthcare related degree (preferred), MBA a plus
  • Lean Six Sigma Master Belt certification or equivalent a must
  • Significant Lean deployment leadership experience in a transactional/healthcare setting
  • Prior enterprise wide Lean Six Sigma coaching, mentoring and training delivery leadership experience in a healthcare setting
  • Prior experience with Lean Six Sigma Transactional implantation and facilitation in roles of increasing leadership responsibility in a healthcare provider setting.
  • Advanced Training in Lean, PDCA, Kaizen, VSM and other continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Prior healthcare consulting deployment leadership experience leading teams of consultants (Black Belts and Master Black Belts)
  • Track record of successful cross functional/ project management & deployment leadership experience in a healthcare provider setting

  • Strong planning/organization & time management skills required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required
