Our client’s consulting practice specializes in the delivery of Lean Six Sigma / performance based consulting solutions in the healthcare, information technology, government services and other transaction oriented verticals.

Position Description and Responsibilities:

This is a key director level leadership position within our client’s growing Lean Six Sigma / performance solutions consulting firm, with responsibility for driving the firm’s business development initiatives in their Healthcare vertical (with focus on both the provider and payer areas of the healthcare industry), reporting directly to firm’s CEO. This position will require a candidate with solid business development / sales experience and service industry background. Preference will be given to candidates with a business development background selling services into the Healthcare industry (provider and /or payer). Key to success in this role requires a candidate that is motivated, enthusiastic, and capable of handling multiple tasks in a fast-paced entrepreneurial growth focused environment.

This position will be responsible for driving the firm’s business development efforts and be tasked with working closely with the firm’s CEO and healthcare segment Managing Director who has responsibility for consulting engagements in the firm’s healthcare market vertical.

• This role will be responsible for prospecting and developing leads for Lean Six Sigma business consulting services predominately in North America, however could include potential clients in other global locations.
• This role will responsible for the preparation and delivery sales proposals to prospective customers and clients.
• This position will be responsible for driving contract negotiations and closing sales agreement with new and existing healthcare clients
• This position will be responsible for developing and maintaining customer relationships, building new customer relationships and strengthening relationships with decision makers in existing client accounts.
• This position will work closely with the firms Healthcare Managing Director in order to develop targeted white papers, promotional items and other marketing materials to promote the firms presence in the healthcare market.

Position Critical to Quality + Success (CTQ+S): Technical Behavioral Requirements:

• BS degree Engineering or Business / MBA or M.S. Advanced Degree preferred but not required
• 10+ years of increasing responsibility in sales or business development role related to services or consulting in the healthcare vertical
• Prior experience as a practice leader from a consulting company with strong business development experience would be a plus
• Experience or exposure to Lean and Six Sigma methodologies related sales and business development a plus
• Background in business development related to healthcare is a requirement

Position Description and Responsibilities:

This is a key quality leadership position within our exclusive client's fast growing multi-plant division, reporting directly to the VP of Operations. This position will require an experienced Lean Six Sigma quality leader, preferably with a high tolerance, precision product manufacturing background. This position requires a quality leader that is able to facilitate and drive process and product continuous improvement, leveraging his/her strong interpersonal and technical skills. Key to success in this quality leadership position is the ability to leverage Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to drive continuous improvements in both the division's products and processes.

• This role will lead the division's quality and Lean Six Sigma process improvement initiatives across multiple sites that will include, Black and Green Belt development, project implementation and cultural change.
• This role will lead the establishment and maintenance of statistical process control procedures and drive actions on trends or variances outside established limits which require corrective action.
• This role will lead the development of Lean Six Sigma based FMEA and quality plans for inspection, test, and evaluation of materials, processes and products across the division's various plants and operations.
• This role will have responsibility for planning and overseeing in the execution of various Lean Six Sigma transformation events targeted towards improving the business’s performance on safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
• This role will devise statistically sound Lean Six Sigma sampling procedures and implement systems for recording, evaluating, and reporting quality and reliability data.
• This role will lead the quality organization and its interaction with other company departments, suppliers and customers on matters related to materials, processes or products which impact product quality and reliability objectives.
• This role will focus on business performance improvements that yield zero accidents, defect free products, on demand and on time delivery, at the lowest cost.
• This role will focus on business performance that constantly strives to eliminate waste, improve customer satisfaction, and increase market share via the use of Lean tools and continuous improvement methodologies.

Position Critical to Quality + Success (CTQ+S): Technical Behavioral Requirements:

• BS Technical Engineering Degree
• CQE (Certified Quality Engineer) or ASQ certification a plus
• Expert knowledge in the use and application of key quality tools (DOE, SPC, FMEA, 8D, etc.)
• Ability to lead & implement ISO/QS & Lean Manufacturing methodologies.
• Five+ years of experience in a similar manufacturing environment in a quality leadership role
• Additional certification as either a Lean / Six Sigma Black Belt or Master Black Belt
