Our exclusive privately-held client is a growing market leader in their service engineering industry. They are seeking to further improve their operating and service delivery performance thru continued leverage of their core Lean transformation initiatives.
Position Description and Responsibilities:
This is a key position within our client’s transformation initiative, supporting its company-wide improvement initiatives, reporting directly to the Manager of Corporate Resources. This position will require an experienced change management leader. This position requires a leader that is able to facilitate and drive change in a fast paced and “ever changing” environment, leveraging his/her strong interpersonal skills. Key to success in this position is the ability to work within the organization at all levels creating value and buy-in as a key change facilitator.
- This position will analyze current best practices in various business units to define and understand their needs and deliver innovative business solutions leveraging Lean and Six Sigma tools and methods were appropriate
- This position will partner with IT to define and deliver technology results to support business solutions
- This position will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships throughout the matrix organization structure, acting as a liaison between subject matter experts and functional roles
- This position will be responsible for Influencing key business unit leaders in building a deployment plan for the strategic vision of each business unit
- This position will act as a primary resource for translating requirements and delivering a functional work product
- This position will fulfill various roles as a key of the operations team, creating methodologies to deliver business and technology solutions
- This position will constructively challenge business proposals or decisions in an effort to improve current practices
- This position will drive the integration of new business opportunities into the operational business systems
- This position will recognize and leverage opportunities and identify beneficial technology
- This position will facilitate meetings / Kaizen events and negotiate differences among both business and technical partners to drive successful business solutions and results
Position Critical to Quality + Success (CTQ+S): Technical Behavioral Requirements:
- BS Degree (Engineering / Business Administration)
- 10+ years professional work experience within the following potential area disciplines:
- Operational business systems applications
- Software development life cycle
- Project management
- Application of accounting systems (pricing, labor, management, cost management, etc)
- Financial business analysis
- Business management support and consultation

- Minimum of 5 years’ experience and proven successful track record in delivering enterprise-wide business applications support
- Lean / Six Sigma Certification desired
- Formal Lean training and experience with Value Stream Management tools, kaizen methods and other key Lean tools and methodologies.
- PMP / PMI certification would be a plus

- MUST be comfortable facilitating Lean Kaizen events, building and implementing divisional and site level improvement plans, directly providing hands on leadership of key projects and teams for continuous improvement.
- Proven ability in strategy development, program implementation, team building, mentoring, planning and budgeting.
- Progressive, flexible and team oriented person required.
